The resort has completed USD 60 million renovation in early 2008.
The restaurant and lounge, spa and new fitness center proudly
showcase their new look. This propety is 100% smoke free
environment including guest rooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting
rooms, and public spaces such as the lobby.
Exterior: It is a contemporary oceanfront hotel with 50,000 square
feet of outdoor function areas.
Lobby: Brand new guest arrival experience in the lobby with new
tile flooring, reflecting pond, and individualized marble and wood
registration pods for a more engaging experience between guest and
hotel associate.
Rooms
All rooms feature the luxurious Revive bedding and linen
collection. Guest rooms categories and views include Terrace, Ocean
View, Ocean Front and Deluxe Ocean Front. Junior suites and
1-bedroom suites with spacious private balconies are also
available. Features include a flat screen TV with pay-per-view
movies, video games and satellite/cable channels, in-room coffee
and tea, a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, mini fridge and a
safe. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a deep soaking tub.
The rooms are additionally equipped with a hairdryer, radio,
Internet access and individually regulated air conditioning. Room
service is offered from 6:30 am to 10 pm.
Restaurant & Food
Located off the main lobby overlooking the Makani Pool area and the
blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, the new restaurant Mala Wailea by
world-renowned chef/restaurant owner Mark Ellman offers a full
lounge and dinner menu. There are other dining options available
with local and continental cuisines. Hula Moons lounge has live
entertainment nightly including Hula dancing between 18:30 and
20:30.
Activities & Sport
The hotel has 5 outdoor pools, one with a children's water slide.
The newest of these pools is an adult's only infinity pool located
near the spa. Facilities provided for additional fees include
diving, surfing, sailing, tennis, golf and horse riding.
Comments
The resort fee of 25 USD plus tax per room, per day, is waived
exclusively to Hotelbeds customers. This is an AAA four-diamond
resort.

there
Driving directions: Exit the Kahului Airport via Keolani Place.
Continue straight onto Highway 380 (Dairy Road). Turn left onto
Highway 350/311 (Mokulele Highway) and follow signs to
Kihei/Wailea. Proceed on 350/311 for approximately 5.5 miles (8.9
kilometres). Merge left onto Highway 31/310 South (Piilani Highway)
for approximately 7 miles to Wailea Ike Drive and turn right. At
the traffic lights, turn right onto Wailea Alanui. Then turn left
into the resort entrance.
