This city hotel features 44 rooms within a historic tenement building, and is perfect for any traveller who is looking for accommodation in Edinburgh's city centre. Various facilities are available to guests including a lobby with lift access to the rooms. Biddy Mulligan's pub is next door to the hotel. This lively pub is popular with tourists, locals and students alike. Wireless Internet access is available within the public areas of the hotel and is free to use for hotel residents.

Please note the pictures shown are of our new refurbished bedrooms due to be complete from July onwards, the refurbishment is currently fully in place. These rooms shown cannot be guaranteed to be allocated until this time.All rooms are arranged over the upper floors, most of which are accessible via the central lift. Many of the rooms offer views of the Grassmarket below and benefit from TVs, en-suite facilities and tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel operates on a room only basis, however, in the morning a full Scottish breakfast is available for a very reasonable price in Biddy Mulligans Pub on the ground floor, where meals are served at all times of the day.

Guests may check in from 2 pm and must check out by 11 am.

From the airport: At the airport, take the bus to Waverly Bridge. Then turn right and walk straight ahead until you reach Cockburn Street. Follow this street to the end, cross Hunter's Square and go down Blair Street. Take a right and keep walking until you reach Cowgate, then after around 200 m you will be at Grassmarket. The hotel is the first building on the left-hand side. From Waverley Station: At the main exit of the station walk left towards Waverley Bridge, then follow the directions above. By car from the bypass: Exit at Sheriffhall Roundabout and drive in the direction of Grassmarket. Once at Grassmarket the hotel is the first building on the right-hand side.
