The Edinburgh House Hotel is situated on a safe and quiet side street in Edinburgh Pilrig residential area. Approximately a mile form the centre of town it is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the city centre and buses do run regularly to attractions such as Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile as well as the city centre's shops, bars and restaurants. 2 kms to city centre 10 kms to the nearest airport (edinburgh) 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station (st andrew bus station) 2 km to the nearest station (waverely station) 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop

Exterior: The hotel is based in a nineteenth century Victorian townhouse, it is set over three floors and many of the original period features are still visible.
Lobby: The lobby is small and located directly inside the front door in front of the stairs to the first landing. There is a small reading room off to the left.
