This property is located on the Napier-Taupo Highway just minutes by car from the city cente and 15 minutes from Taupo airport it has panaramic views over the lake and Tongariro National Park. Centrally located 272 kms to the airport (auckland) 7 kms to the airport (taupo) 1 km to the nearest beach

A great internaionally known hotel situated above New Zeland's largest lake with many rooms enjoying excellent views of the nearby mountain range. All the usual service and style you expect when staying at the Hilton.
Exterior: Two storey historical, wooden colonial sytle building with sweeping balconies facing the lake, the original Terraces Hotel built in 1889 forms the Heritage Wing. The mountain Wing has 5 floors.

The Guest Rooms are well appointed and overlook the thermally heated swimming pool, they have modern bathrooms a mix of shower only and shower with bath tub. Rooms have tea/coffee facilities, 32 inch LCD SKY TV, wireless internet access and complimentary use of the Fitness Center and pool.
