Overlooking the legendary Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and historic village, the hotel offers an ideal base for a visit to Rotorua, the thermal wonderland. 2 kms to city centre 9 kms to the nearest airport (rotorua) 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 2 km to the nearest fair site (convention centre)

The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to the city centre operating during the day, for service outside of these hours the request should be made to the hotel reception. This hotel has been wonderfully transformed and is an excellent choice for travellers visiting this fascinating city.
Exterior: The hotel is five storey concrete and glass building with a brand new wing added in 2004.
Lobby: The hotel has a large lobby with a restaurant and bar adjoining it.

Rooms

The hotel has benefitted from a renovation in 2004 with an additional wing added and existing rooms transformed. Most rooms have twin queen size beds, with all usual facilities such as mini bar, hairdryer and iron/ ironing board. Bathrooms vary in size, but all have shower over bath. Rooms also include bathrobes.

Restaurant & Food

The hotel has a restaurant serving international cuisine, and a small cocktail bar adjacent. In the evenings there is an opportunity to enjoy the Maori concert and Hangi feast that is a trademark of the city.

Activities & Sport

The Pohutu Cultural Theatre is Rotorua's premier indoor Maori cultural venue, providing a dazzling showcase of authentic Maori culture in a spectacular theatre setting. The hotel also offers thermally heated outdoor pool and Spas. Well- equipped gymnasium for the guests is available too.

Directions, How to get there

Complimentary shuttle pickup from the Rotorua Tourism Information Centre to the hotel is available. Coming from south, turn right into Froude Street at the BP Connect service station. The hotel is on the next corner on the right. Coming from the north go south along Fenton Street as if going to Taupo and turn left into Froude Street by the BP Connect service station. The hotel is on the next corner on the right.
