The Hotel Cairns is situated in the heart of Cairns, one block from the famous Esplanade and walking distance to shops and restaurants. 2 kms to city centre 10 kms to the nearest airport (cairns) 2 km to the nearest station (cairns central) 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 20 km to the nearest beach

Perfect base from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef. This property is a great value for the money and very comfortable. Family run, the service is excellent. Highly recommended.
Exterior: This is a unique property in Cairns with historic Queenslander architecture, featuring white plantation shutters throughout the building. Set back from the street and well shaded by tropical trees and plants.
Lobby: Small size lobby offering 24 hour reception.

Rooms
Medium size rooms (22sqm) with cool tiled floors and marble bathrooms. Tastefully furnished, the decor is modern and fresh with a bright colour scheme. These rooms are located on the ground and first floor of the hotel and are a good quality option for budget travelers.

Restaurant & Food
The restaurant on site is one of the best in Cairns and should not go untried: modern Australian cuisine with a good wine list. The furnishings reflect tropical old style, incorporating white timber plantation shutters, cool marble floors, white cane armchair seating and lush potted palms. Open for breakfast and dinner 7 days a week.

Activities & Sport
Resort facilities include a snack bar and beverages available 24 hours, state-of-the-art fitness centre and bicycle hire. There is also a swimming pool and spa pool with terrace and sun lounge areas.
