This was the first resort in Koh Samui and has enjoyed the best site on this mini-peninsula for more than 29 years. It is also the only resort to be located on the connecting point of Chaweng Beach and Chaweng Noi Beach, known to be the finest site of this Emerald Island. The family-friendly beach hotel is still run by the owner's family and offers a unique blend of the same old simple, traditional and personalised hospitality of the owner, as well as all the modern amenities that one can dream of in an exotic far-flung island hideout like Chaweng Beach. Comprising a total of 71 guest rooms, the establishment welcomes its guests into a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe and currency exchange facilities. On-site facilities include a restaurant, WLAN Internet access (fees apply) and room and laundry services.

The establishment consists of 26 standard rooms, 36 deluxe rooms, 5 grand deluxe rooms, 4 family rooms and the brand new 27 superior rooms. The rooms have all been especially designed for the comfort and convenience of guests and feature modern facilities. The spacious rooms all have an en suite bathroom with a bath (showers also feature), as well as wireless Internet access, and additional amenities include double beds, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar and individually regulated air conditioning. The modern deluxe, grand deluxe and family rooms also feature a balcony with pool views.

Guests can enjoy romantic dining at the poolside restaurant, which is located on the ground floor of the boat-shaped building and which serves mouth-watering seafood, Thai and international cuisine. After dinner, the bar staff will be on hand to whip up a unique cocktail, which guests can enjoy to soft background music. A breakfast buffet is served each morning in the breakfast room.

The resort is home to an outdoor swimming pool with a children's swimming area. There is also a hot tub and indoor and outdoor massage rooms offering a range of Thai, oil, foot, body and facial massages. The nearby beach is sandy and parasols are available.

The resort is about a 30-minute drive from Samui Airport and a 50-minute drive from Samui Ferry Pier.
