The hotel is the former residence of the La Vanguardia newspaper
and was designed by Josep Majó Ribas. Established in 2003, the
hotel is well suited to both holidaymakers and business guests. On
offer are a total of 221 rooms, of which five are
disability-friendly. The air-conditioned building includes a lobby
area with a reception desk manned around the clock, lift access, a
bar, an Internet connection via WLAN, nine connected bright rooms
for various events, room and laundry services, and a parking garage
for those arriving by car. There is room for up to 160 persons in
the two Mediterranean restaurants. One offers a complete breakfast
buffet, lunch, and dinner, while the other, the Tallers62, offers a
range of fresh dishes for up to 50 guests in a cosy atmosphere.
Rooms
The rooms are extremely modern and all come with an en suite
bathroom with hairdryer. Further standard fittings include
interactive satellite/ cable TV, a direct dial telephone, an
Internet connection via WLAN, a minibar, tea and coffee making
facilities, a king-size bed, and a safe. The air conditioning and
heating can be individually adjusted. There are various room
categories, with some featuring a private terrace and pool.
Restaurant & Food
There is a bar in the hall, the breakfast room and a la carte
restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine. Next to the swimming pool you
fill find the chill out snack bar.
Activities & Sport
Taken together, the gym and the spa and relaxation area, with its
massage treatments, Jacuzzi, sauna, swimming pool in the courtyard,
and sun terrace, offer everything guests need to relax following a
busy day working or visiting the city attractions.
