The Royal Park is located in Shatin, conveniently just 15 minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui East by stations and a 45 minute drive to the International Airport via the highway. The hotel is adjacent to the Shatin MTR station, which also provides a direct link to the Hong Kong-China border. This property overlooks the Shing Mun River and Shatin Central Park and is linked with the very large and lively shopping malls and entertainment complex of New Town Plaza. This is a good 4 star Superior First property with well maintained hardware. Although it is located in Shatin, with convinent transport links, Shatin is just 15 minutes away by train to Tsimshatsui East station, also there are direct links to the China border. The hotel has a large heated outdoor swimming pool, which is free for guests and a medium sized gym which is free for guest to use too, also they have a tennis court, which is chargeable. This hotel is recommended for FIT and groups.
Exterior: This is a 16-storey modern building in brick red color.
Lobby: The lobby is large in size and is newly renovated and has a contemporary yet elegant decor. The lobby has large windows and mirrors with modern lighting. The marble reception desk is large in size and there is a large, comfortable seating area.

Rooms
The 448 rooms and suites are medium to large in size and in good condition, also recently renovated. The bathroom is medium in size and in good condition. All rooms, which come with standard in-room facilities, are warmly decorated in light brown colours with large windows which have views on either the Central Park, Shopping Mall or the Shing Mun River.

Restaurant & Food
The hotel has three restaurants and one bar. The restaurants are medium to large in size and serve Japanese, Chinese and International cuisine. The bar in the lobby is large in size and is newly renovated. It has a contemporary look with large windows and serves wine, cocktails as well as an a la carte menu. For groups, the bar has private areas with karaoke facilities.

Activities & Sport
There is a heated swimming pool to make use of in the hotel grounds. Moreover, an indoor pool is available for use, as is a sauna and an in-house gym.
