The hotel has been built and designed by leading architects with an emphasis on light and natural space, offering some of the most stunning views of Amsterdam over the beautiful harbour and the river IJ, and the traditional historic old town. The city hotel was built in 2011 and has 553 guest rooms on offer. The premises are air-conditioned and have a lobby with 24-hour reception service. From the central station: walk out of the station via the main entrance and turn left. Walk past the station building and by then guests can already see the hotel. Pass the bus station and after crossing the road the hotel will be on the left-hand side.
