Situated high up on Brooks Hill Drive overlooking Kings beach and Algoa Bay and opposite the Bayworld Oceanrium, the Kelway is a short 5 minute drive to the airport and within walking distance of the beach and nearby shops. 15 kms to city centre 5 kms to the nearest airport (port elizabeth) 45 minute walk to the nearest metro station (city centre) 8 km to the nearest station (port elizabeth train station) 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 3 km to the nearest fair site (the broadwalk) 2 km to the nearest beach

This is a really welcoming hotel in the centre of the city but just a stones throw from the beach. The rooms are good and the restaurant has lots of character. The hotel has secure parking, an internet cafe and a lovely small outdoor swimming pool with wood sundeck,loungers and sun umbrellas.
Exterior: A pleasant looking hotel made mostly out of timber, it is just two storeys tall and has a light green roof.
Lobby: The lobby is medium in size with the wooden reception desk straight ahead as you enter. There is a seationg area for guests.

Rooms
There are sea-facing as well as non sea-facing rooms available (sea-facing rooms are on request). All rooms come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer and some rooms offer a king-size bed. They are equipped with a TV with selected DSTV channels, Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities. Furthermore, individually regulated air conditioning units are provided in all accommodation as standard and all rooms have either a balcony or a terrace.

Restaurant & Food
There is an excellent restaurant with a good food and wine menu. The whole restaurant is dominated by the timber frame building and wooden tables and chairs. There is also a very nice cocktail bar which also has wifi for computer use.

Activities & Sport
This hotel features an outdoor plunge pool and guests can relax on sun loungers.
