This family-run country hotel, totally refurbished in April 2007,
offers a high level of comfort in the traditional Victorian
surroundings of a building dating back to 1869. Always aspiring to
be innovative, the hotel's newly installed central heating and
water system is revolutionary in using an environmentally friendly
biomass wood chip burner. Its grace and charm is complemented by
natural décor, modernism and genuine, warm hospitality offered by a
devoted and passionate team. Guests can choose from a total of 29
rooms and facilities on offer at this family-friendly establishment
include a lobby area, a hotel safe, a lift, a café, a bar, a TV
lounge, 2 restaurants, conference facilities and WLAN/Internet

services and there is parking for those arriving by car.
Rooms
Each bedroom is individual in shape, size and architectural focus.
All feature the same interior décor but some rooms look out onto
Loch Ness, some onto the five-lock canal staircase of the
Caledonian Canal and other have views of the surrounding mountains.
Some rooms come with 4.6 ft double beds, others have 5 ft king-size
beds or 6 ft super king-size beds, and bathrooms are with
shower-only or bath and shower units. The hotel offers 2 room
types: studios and deluxe bedrooms and all bedrooms offer modern,
technologically advanced facilities. They all come equipped with a
hairdryer, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, Internet access and tea
and coffee making facilities. Furthermore, an ironing set and
central heating are provided in all accommodation as standard.
Restaurant & Food
Guests may select their breakfast from a buffet and the midday meal
is available à la carte or from a set menu.

There are off-site facilities for canoeing, abseiling, kayaking,
water sports, quad biking, cycling, walking, climbing, boating and
