Renovated in 2008, this delightful, family owned establishment is a
small and cosy traditional highland inn-style hotel. The hotel
comprises a total of 9 individual en suite bedrooms, a restaurant
featuring good old-fashioned homemade bar food and a cosy bar with
real ales, crackling log fires and a Scotch malt whisky bar. There
is private on-site parking and guests can also take advantage of
the WLAN Internet access. Pets are welcome. Facilities on offer to
guests include a lobby, a 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe
and a cloakroom. There is a children's playground for the younger
guests, a café, a bar, a pub and a restaurant. Business travellers
will appreciate the conference facilities and WLAN Internet access
and guests can also take advantage of the room service. There is
parking available for those arriving by car and it is also possible
to hire bicycles on the premises.
Rooms
The hotel offers quiet, spacious bedrooms appointed in rustic style
and bursting with character. All rooms come with a private bathroom
with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer and offer a king-size or
double bed. They are equipped with a direct dial telephone, a TV, a
radio, Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.
Furthermore, a washing machine, an ironing set and individually
regulated heating are provided in all accommodation as standard.

Restaurant & Food
Guests may select their continental breakfast from a buffet and the
midday and evening meals may be enjoyed in set menu form or à la
carte.
Activities & Sport
For an additional fee guests can join an aquafit session, go
waterskiing, jet skiing, diving, surfing, windsurfing, motor
boating, sailing, and canoeing. It is also possible to play a game
of tennis or try out archery, horse riding or biking (charges apply
to all). Furthermore, golf enthusiasts can play a round at the
nearby Aviemore course (charges apply), just 6.5 km from the hotel
and the hotel puts on a programme of entertainment for children
(for an additional fee).
Comments
The reception desk is open 7.30 am - 10.30 pm. Check-in is from 2
pm and guests are required to check out by 11 am. Late check-in and
early check-out are available on request. Well-behaved dogs are
welcome.
Directions, How to get
there
Guests arriving from Inverness and the North should take the A9 to
south of Aviemore, then turn left, then right onto the B9152
signposted to the village of Kincraig and The Brae. Those coming
from Glasgow and Edinburgh should follow the signs to Perth then
join the A9 to Inverness. After bypassing Pitlochry, Newtonmore and
Kingussie, turn left then right onto the A9152 to Kincraig.
