The hotel was built in 1983 and was adapted to the needs to today's
guests during its renovation in 2001. It is distinguished by its
authentic Arabo-Moorish architecture, combining modernity with
tradition, with the maisonettes featuring an inner courtyard,
surrounded by a rich variation of palms and gardens. Facilities
include a lobby with 24-hour reception, lift access, a restaurant,
a café, a bar, a nightclub and conference facilities. Younger
guests are also provided with a kids' club.
Rooms
The rooms all feature an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct
dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a mini-fridge and individual
air conditioning.
Restaurant & Food
The main restaurant holds a capacity of 450 seats, with non-smoking
areas and two terraces surrounded by the garden. Buffets are served
for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a rich variety of refined
national and international cuisine. Light snacks are available
during the day with the pizzeria snack bar open every day during
the summer and serving sandwiches, pizzas and snacks etc. Gourmet
dishes are offered at the bar-barbeque by the beach, which is also
open every day during the summer and offers a choice of dishes from
a varied menu with national and international cuisine. The bar
disco is open to hotel guests daily serving a multitude of alcohol
and non-alcoholic, local and imported drinks.
Activities & Sport
Leisure facilities include an outdoor pool surrounded by palms as
well as sun loungers and parasols. A multilingual entertainment
team keeps guests busy during the whole period of their stay, day
and night, with a cyclical programme, which is carefully arranged
for the needs of the guests. Various activities and facilities are
available such as a clay tennis court, minigolf, bocce, table
tennis, archery, darts, aerobics, aqua aerobics, water polo,
volleyball, Olympiads, swimming pool games and beach games. Massage
services are also provided to help guests unwind. Certain
activities incur an added charge including the games room, pedalos,
surfing, sailing and kayaking. Nautical activities as well as
diving are available nearby and the hotel is 3 km from the nearest
golf course.
