Recently refurbished at the beginning of 2008, this beach hotel has
67 rooms in total, as well as an award-winning tropical garden. It
surrounds a secluded cove, and offers guests a unique private
beach. The peninsula, with its small love nests for two, offers a
spectacular and romantic view of one of the widest lagoons in
Mauritius, as well as the five northern islands. The hotel is
air-conditioned and has a lobby area with 24-hour reception and
check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facility and a
hairdressers' salon. Guests can relax in the café, bar, games room
or TV lounge, dine in one of the 3 restaurants and take advantage
of the conference facilities and Internet access. 24-hour room
service and a laundry service are also provided. Cycle hire is
available, as are parking facilities for guests arriving by
car.
Rooms
The rooms offer a harmonious combination of modern comfort and
décor. They feature a spacious bathroom with a dressing room,
bathrobes, a bathtub, shower and separate toilet. All rooms also
feature individually regulated air conditioning, an international
direct dial telephone, Internet access and a flat screen TV with
remote control and satellite/cable channels. Double or kingsize
beds, a radio, coffee and tea making facilities, a minibar,
electronic safe, hairdryer, an ironing set and a balcony or terrace
with view of the lagoon, the beach or the gardens also come with
rooms as standard.
Restaurant & Food
Three restaurants are dotted around the property and range from a
casual beach spot for a lunch to the romantic gazebos for two for a
private dinner. All blend local, Indian and international
cuisines.
Activities & Sport
There are two swimming pools, one outdoor and one children's pool,
with sun loungers and parasols. Water aerobics, a steam room,
massage and spa treatments, and a gym all feature. The nearby beach
is sandy and comes with sun loungers and parasols. A variety of
water sports are offered there, including water skiing, diving,
surfing, wind surfing, sailing, catamaran boating, canoeing, pedal
boating and rowing. Biking is also an option.
